Russo is well-versed in the video game space, as he also wrote the upcoming Space Invaders and Saints Row films. He will also be an executive producer on the System Shock show alongside Binge's Allan Ungar, and Stephen Kick and Larry Kuperman from Nightdive Studios. Russo wrote 2021's much-loved Mortal Kombat movie for New Line ( which is getting a sequel with a new writer). The upcoming System Shock TV show in the works at the streaming company Binge has hired Greg Russo to write and direct the series.
